The Dynamic Enterprise Modeler conceptThe Dynamic Enterprise Modeler has the following roles:
These roles can be combined in one implementation assisting objective. Hinweis The term implementation assisting objective does not actually cover the contents. If the system is operational, the Process Browsers created in the implementation phase can be used. Most of the remaining document describes the Dynamic Enterprise Modeler from an objective point of view. However, whenever extra actions are required to enable parts of a business model workflow, they are explained in a separate section. To achieve the implementation assisting
objective The first objective of the Dynamic Enterprise Modeler is accomplished by modeling the business processes that represent the desired situation of an organization. Each time a model is created for a different organization, a new model is built that represents the desired situation for that organization. Several models that represent the best-practice situation of certain organization typologies have been created. These reference models can be used as a starting point in creating organization-specific models, which are based on the differences between the organization’s specific situation and the best-practice situation. A reference model provides you with an efficient way of working, because the only data that must be entered is different from the best-practice situation. Also, it is more effective because a comparison can be drawn between the current and desired situation of a company, and the best-practice situation within the corresponding organization typology. This comparison can be used during the business re-engineering process.
