Work Order Labor Resources (tswcs4120m000)

Use this session to view, maintain, and create labor resources that are required for a work order.

Note

LN defaults the project pegging data in this session either from the Costing Breaks Service Depot Repair Labor (tppdm3104m000) session or from the Work Orders (tswcs2100m000) session. The costing breaks functionality enables you to redirect cost from one level to another.

 

Work Order
The work order for which the labor resource line is created.
Description
The description of the item for which the work order is created.
Work Order Status
The status of the work order. The following are the possible values:
  • Free
  • Planned
  • Released
  • Completed
  • Signed
  • Closed
  • Canceled
Activity Line
The work order activity line number for which the labor resource line is created.
Activity Line
The current status of the work order activity line for which the labor resource line is registered. The following are the possible values:
  • Free
  • Planned
  • Released
  • Completed
  • Signed
  • Closed
  • Canceled
Line Number
The work order labor resource line number. The line number is linked to the specified activity line number.
Reference Activity
The reference activity that must be performed on the item that is specified in the work order.

The description of the reference activity.
Task
The code of the task for which the labor cost is specified.

Overhead Surcharge
The actual overhead surcharge that is levied on the overhead price.
Cost Amount
The actual cost amount of the labor resource that is required. The cost amount is calculated by the following equation:
 
Cost amount = quantity * (Cost price + Cost Surcharge + Overhead price + Overhead Surcharge)
Quotation Number
The quotation that is linked to the work order.
Quotation Cost Line
The quotation cost line that is linked to the labor line.
Cost Component
The default cost component that is used when invoicing the costs.
Description
The description of the cost component.
Labor Rate
The labor rate code, defined in the Labor Rate Codes (tcppl0190m000) session in People. A sales rate and a cost rate can be specified in this labor rate code.

Labor Type
The labor type which classifies the labor thatt is required for the task.

Efficiency Rate
The number of employees that is required to carry out the task.
Checked-Off
If this check box is selected, it indicates the following:
  • Required task is completed.
  • Labor line data is verified.

    The labor line can no longer be modified.

Note

If the Check-off Required check box is selected in the Work Order Parameters (tswcs0100m000) session, you must first check the actual labor resources used , and then click the Check-Off button, before you can close the work order or work order activity.

Text
LN selects the check box in case additional text is present.
Required Quantity
The estimated labor time that is required to carry out the activity/work order.
Unit
The unit in which the required quantity is measured.
Estimated Cost Price
The estimated cost price of the labor resource.
Currency
The currency of the labor cost.
Estimated Overhead Price
The overhead price that must be levied on the estimated cost price.
Cost Surcharge
The additional surcharge that is levied on the labor cost.
Overhead Surcharge
The overhead surcharge that is levied on the estimated overhead price.
Cost Amount
The estimated cost amount of the resource requirement.The cost amount is calculated by the following equation:
 
Cost amount = quantity * (Cost price + Cost Surcharge + Overhead price + Overhead Surcharge)
Actual Quantity
The actual labor time that is required to carry out the activity/work order.
Cost Price
The actual cost price of the labor resources.
Overhead Price
The overhead price that must be levied on the actual cost price
Cost Surcharge
The additional surcharge that is levied on the actual cost.
Project
The code of the project for which the labor resource line is created.
Note
  • This field is applicable if:

    • the Project Pegging check box is selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
    • the Project Pegging data is defined in the Work Orders (tswcs2100m000) session.
  • This field is not valid if:

    • project is linked to a contract in the Contracts (tpctm1100m000) session.
    • project is a Project (TP) with status Free.
    • project is a Project (PCS).

    • the Inherit Project Peg and Mandatory Project Peg check boxes are selected in the Item - General (tcibd0101s000) session.
    • the Project Pegging data is defined in the Work Orders (tswcs2100m000) session.
    • the Element check box is selected in the General Project Parameters (tppdm0100s000) session.
  • This field is not applicable if:

    • the Project Pegging check box is not selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
  • If the Costing Breaks check box is selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session, the value in this field is defaulted from the Costing Breaks Service Depot Repair Labor (tppdm3104m000) session. However, if costing breaks are not defined in this session, the value in this field is defaulted from the Work Orders (tswcs2100m000) session.
  • If the Costing Breaks check box is not selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session, the value in this field is defaulted from the Work Orders (tswcs2100m000) session.
