Costing Breaks Production Resources (tppdm3102m000)

Use this session to create and maintain the costing breaks for the production resources linked to the project.

For a project involving production of an item, you can create costing breaks for the labor and/or the subcontracting costs (production resources). You can create costing breaks for the main item, routing of the item, operations linked to the routing, and by the work centers mapped to a specific element or activity of the project.

Infor LN first searches for the costing breaks created for the specific project, then for a blank project. The hierarchical sequence that Infor LN follows to search for the costing breaks:

  1. Main item/ routing/ operation
  2. Main item/ routing
  3. Work center
  4. Cost Type/ main item
Note

To manually copy the costing breaks to another project, select the Copy to other Project option on the Actions menu. The Copy to Other Project window opens wherein you can specify the target project code.
