Cash Flow Simulation Template

This template is a graphical template to simulate the cash flow for an estimate. The cost data comprises of total cost amount and the date of incurring cost. The sales information comprises of net sales amount and the date of expected sales. This template provides the additional profit or loss figures, which can be simulated and viewed graphically. With the help of the graphical view and the simulation, you can arrive at the optimum sales/payment schedule. The net sales amount and the total cost amount cumulative appear in terms of the reference currency of the current company.

Total Cost Amount = Landed Cost Amount + Escalation Amount + Contingency Amount

To perform the simulation, you can click the Simulation icon ( [...]) to trigger two questions: the minimum number of days for interest calculation and the interest percentage. With every click of the Simulation icon, you can repeat the same process, enter a different interest percentage, and the minimum number of days for which the interest must be calculated.

Chart 1 shows the cumulative net sales amount, cumulative total cost amount, and the difference between the two cumulative amounts plotted against the time periods. The time periods are generated based on the value you enter for the minimum number of days for which the interest percentage is to be calculated. In addition, a trend line is drawn which is a polynomial of order six.

Chart 2 is a simple plotting of cumulative cost amount and the cumulative net sales amount, with the cumulative cost amount also plotted on the positive y-axis.

All the fields are Read Only, and cannot be written back to LN Project. The data of the current company as established by means of the OpenWorld integration will be retrieved.
