ConstraintsThe changes made by the user in Microsoft Project, reflect in LN subject to the ownership of data. If the ownership is with Microsoft Project, the budgeted quantity of a budget line can be changed from the Microsoft Project. The value is updated to LN when the synchronization is completed the next time. Synchronization is a process by which change in budget/schedule data is updated on both sides. Master data and calendar information is transferred only one way: from LN to Microsoft Project. Other fields, such as Maximum Number of Units Available, Calendar/Availability Type for a resource, also flow in one way. Note To change the environment or the company number in the corresponding environment configuration, select the appropriate BusComponent in the Adapter Configuration Utility of the LN OpenWorldX application. You cannot change the company number when you work with the integration. Note The Time Unit field in the PSS parameters and the Work unit that is entered in Microsoft Project must be of the same unit value. The default work is entered on the Schedule tab of the Options session. To access this session, on the menu bar, click the Tools option in Microsoft Project. Whenever processing exists in the background, for example, if data is collected from the LN database through OpenWorldX, the Microsoft Project window is not refreshed, which is comparable to the situation in which your main client waits for the server.
