Machines are linked to operation rates. The operation rate and the labor rate together form the basis for the actual costing of production orders.
Machine Utilization Chart (tisfc1511m000)Use this session to generate a chart in which you can view the utilization of a specific machine for a specific period of time. The chart displays the total available machine hours as well as the total required machine hours. LN calculates the total available machine hours of the machine using the calendar of the work center to which the machine is linked. If the chart does not display the total available hours, it means that the machine is not linked to a work center. LN takes several order types into account to calculate the total required machine hours:

Start Date The start date of the first period for which LN calculates the machine
utilization. Number of Periods on Chart The number of periods for which LN calculates the machine
utilization. Number of Periods in View The number of periods that is displayed in the chart. If LN calculates the machine utilization for more periods than displayed in the chart, you can click Next Records in the chart to view the other periods. Show capacity used for planned production orders If this check box is selected, the machine capacity
that is required for planned production orders is displayed in the chart. Show capacity used for SFC (production) orders If this check box is selected, the machine capacity
that is required for SFC production orders is displayed in the chart. Show capacity used for service and maintenance orders If this check box is selected, the machine capacity
