Shared Work Center Utilization by Week (tisfc1508m000)

Use this session to view the capacity planned for a shared work center in a specified week.

Note

If you have made any changes to your shop floor planning, you must run the Build Utilization (tisfc0201m000) session (in the work center's company) before you use the current session. You must select Automatic or Manual in the Update Method Week Utilization field of the Shop Floor Control Parameters (tisfc0100s000) session.

In the Shared Work Center Relationships (tirou3100m000) session, you defined the Percentage Capacity of the primary work center allocated to the current secondary work center. That determines the capacity of the secondary work center. If the primary work center has a capacity of 80 hours per week and the current secondary work center has a Percentage Capacity of 50%, its capacity will be 40 hours.

Work Center
The shared work center whose planned capacity you want to see.
Company
Year
The year for which you want to view the planned shared work center utilization.
Week
The week number for which you want to view the planned shared work center utilization.

Week one is the the first week of the year containing at least four days, assuming that Monday is the first day of the week.

Work Center
The secondary work center whose planned capacity you want to see.
Normal Man Capacity
The secondary work center's normal capacity expressed in man hours.

The normal capacity is calculated from the following fields in the Work Centers (tirou0101m000) session:

Number of Operators	* Basic Day Capacity by Resource Unit.
Available Man Capacity
The secondary work center's available capacity expressed in man hours.

The available capacity is calculated as follows:

Capacity in	calendar * Number of Operators * Percentage Shared Capacity.

Where:

Capacity in	calendar = Calendar Time * Efficiency Factor * Percentage Capacity.

  • Calendar time = end date - start date (for one record in the actual calendar).
  • Efficiency Factor = working time / clock time.
  • Percentage Shared Capacity = the percentage allocated to the shared secondary work center. In case of a primary shared work center or no shared work center, the percentage is 100%.
Total Man Hours
An aggregation of the secondary work center's remaining/outstanding operation hours for the specified period expressed in man hours.

Because these are remaining hours, the spent hours booked in People, are not counted.

Normal Mach. Capacity
The secondary work center's normal capacity expressed in machine hours.

The normal capacity is calculated from the following fields in the Work Centers (tirou0101m000) session:

Number of Machines	* Basic Day Capacity by Resource Unit.
