Processing Material Shortages

If shortages exist after backflushing and direct processing, you can use this session to post the remaining material to the SFC production order. In case of a shortage, the warehouse order for the material is already unblocked. With this session, you can finish material processing without a labor-intensive warehouse order procedure. You can choose to process low cost material for one or more production orders, or for an SFC order group. You can also process the material by operation or material line.

To find shortages for one or more SFC production orders, you must specify selection ranges, select the Simulate Only check box, and then click Process. A report is printed that displays the current shortages by production order and material.
