Function: Folder management

The objective of this function is to address the problem of links and dependencies by providing a generic flexible solution. This solution facilitates the fast retrieval of any type of information related to the object defined in ODM. Folders group related information of various types, for example, engineering items and drawings, to simplify management of the customer’ s product information. Folder Management also enables the user to freeze a group of objects of various types.

Folders can contain objects. Only objects that are folder-resident, in other words, members in the Objects Inside Folder family, can be contained in a folder. You can also set up relationships between folders.
