(MPR08a) In this process, you can confirm project issues, set the status of the project to Closed, evaluate the project, create clusters for life-cycle maintenance and finally either delete or archive the project issues.

(MPR08b) In this process, you can set the project to Closed, Evaluated, and then either Archived or Deleted. The objective of this process is to close and/or archive projects. Before the project is closed, the commitments and actual costs must be processed. After the project has been closed, purchase orders can no longer be generated, although some information on project performance can be viewed while the project is in progress. After a project is closed, you can no longer post financial transactions to that project. Projects can only be archived after the project is closed. Archiving is usually performed annually.
