Function: Inventory Blocking

This function handles the blocking and unblocking of goods. Goods can be blocked due to the fact that the location is blocked or just that the goods themselves are blocked. Because this functionality is scattered through the other flows, controlling the LN, for example, during an outbound advice, will be very difficult. To make this much easier, all blocking processes are grouped in this function.

The objective of this process is to coordinate the blocking of inventory.

  • Locations
  • Locations by Transaction Types
  • Zones
  • Lots
  • Serialized Items
  • Handling Units
  • Stock Points
