Function: Assembly Planning

The objective of this function is to perform the planning of items produced in mixed model flow environment.

In this process, product variants, which represent unique products configurations, are based on sales orders. For every product variant an assembly order is generated. Material requirements are calculated for lower level components (assembly parts).
