Excise Range (tccom9137m00l)

This functionality is specific for India.

Use this session to maintain the details of the excise authorities of the Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC). CBEC governs the excise duty through the commissionerates for each zone. Each commissionerate consists of several divisions, which in turn consists of several range offices.

 

Range Code
The code that identifies an excise range. Use the browse arrow to select the series from the First Free Numbers (tcmcs0150m000) session. LN generates the code and updates the series. The address of each warehouse, purchase office or sales office that deals with excisable goods must be linked to a range code.
Description
The description or name of the code.
Range I
The excise office linked to the warehouse, purchase office or sales office. The field is mandatory.
Range II
The second excise office linked to the warehouse, purchase office or sales office. The field is optional.
Division I
The excise region to which the range belongs. The field is mandatory.
Division II
The second excise region to which the range belongs. The field is optional.
Commissionerate I
The excise authority to which the division belongs. The field is mandatory.
Commissionerate II
The second excise authority to which the division belongs. The field is optional.

Starts the Print Excise Range (tccom9437m00l) session, which prints the details of the excise authorities.
