Troubleshooting
This section discusses an error messages you can encounter
during installation.
It is possible that the following error message appears after
starting the Installation Wizard:

This indicates that something is wrong with your DCOM settings.
To repair this, start DCOMCNFG, from a Command Prompt: ![[...]](../guides/images/cluster8.jpg)
- This will start the component services:
- Right click My Computer and select Properties.
- In the Access Permissions box click Edit Default.
- Select SELF and in the Permissions for SELF select Allow for:
- Local Access
- Remote Access
- Allow Local access to SYSTEM and click OK.
- Click OK. Now you must be able to start the
Installation Wizard.
