Additional post-installation tasks

Some exchange schemes for specific integrations are created by Infor Development. During the Infor LN installation, the Exchange Schemes are imported into the base data company (050). Before you can use these schemes, you must run some sessions within Infor LN software. Refer to the online help topic "Exchange Scheme Delivery for Baan ERP"

A combination of Infor Worktop and Infor Windows Client is necessary to configure and use the Infor LN environment, you can install the Infor Windows Client. For more specific information about the Windows Client, refer to Installation Guide Infor BW (U7434 US).

After you have installed the Infor ERP Windows Client, you can install the worktop. You can find the worktop software on the Infor Enterprise Server (Tools) distribution Medium. The document to be used for the installation is Installation Guide Worktop 2.5 for Infor ERP Baan IV / ERP Baan 5.0 / ERP LN (U8476 US).

To make the online help files of Infor LN available, the dumpfile must be installed on the Web server on which the Infor Webhelp is running. In the User Data Template, specify the Help Server.

However, before you can start the installation of the Infor LN Help files, you must have installed and configured the Web UI; after that you can install the Infor LN help files. For specific information, refer to Installation and Configuration Guide for Infor Web Help" (U8934 US).
