To install the ODM Vault Server on a Windows machine

  1. Run setup.exe from the installation media.

    The Welcome dialog box appears:

  2. Click Next.

    The License Agreement dialog box appears:

  3. Read the license agreement carefully and, if you agree to the terms in the license agreement, click Next.

    The Information dialog box appears:

  4. Click Next.

    The Choose Destination Location dialog box appears:

  5. Click Next.

    The Select Program Folder dialog box appears:
    [...]

  6. Clicking Next. The installation will start. This step concludes the installation of Vault Server on a Windows machine. The next two options are configuration.

    First you will have an option to select the port to be used.

  7. Check Start NT Service or start the NT service later. For more information, see To install the Vault Server as a Windows service.

  8. The InstallShield Wizard Complete box appears.

For uninstall the Add or Remove Programs option of Windows can be used. It will stop the service and remove the software.
