| Server installationThis Chapter describes the installation of Plan Board version
2.4 for Infor LN and more recent versions from the Server. Pre-installation step You must manually copy some files. - Go to the Client directory on the Infor LN medium.
Copy the most recent version of the Plan board files. to
this directory: /$BSE/c_plus/fm/
Check in the /$BSE/c_plus/fm/ directory if these Plan board
files are present: - Installation.txt: Server installation info.
- Version.txt: Plan Board version info.
- PlanBoard_Setup.exe: Setup program.
Note The installation will not run if the /$BSE/c_plus/fm/
directory contains the Plan Board files in a single zipped or packed
file. Installation steps To install the Plan board from the server to the
client: - Ensure LN is installed and running.
- Close all other running applications.
On the Menu Browser, click Baan General
menu > Freight Management > Freight Master
Data > Graphical Plan Board - To start the Install Graphical Plan Board (fmfmd9299m000)
session, double click Install Graphical Plan Board.
- Specify a clean temporary directory to copy the files to and
click Install.
- Click OK. A message appears that prompts you to continue with
the Graphical Plan board installation.
- Click OK. If the install directory you supplied earlier does
not exist, a message displays.
- Click Yes to create the directory. The files are copied and the
set-up program starts.
- Click Next to continue with the Choose Destination Location
dialog box.
- You can specify a new folder or select the one suggested by the
dialog box.
- Click Next. The Select Program folder dialog box displays.
- Click Next. The Start Copying Files dialog displays.
- To make changes to the setup, click Back. To start the
installation, click Next.
- When the installation is completed successfully you can exit
the setup program and click Finish.
- On the Menu Browser, click Baan General
menu > Freight Management > Freight
Planning
- Check if the installation was successful. Double click
Graphical Plan Board to start the plan board.
Note In Web UI, the plan board is available as a standard session titled Plan
Board (fmlbd0215m000). No installation by the user required. | |
