Usability improvements for shipment notices

In Infor LN, handling shipment notices in Warehousing required the use of various sessions.

Infor LN SP1

In Infor LN SP1, the Shipment Notices (whinh3600m000) session is created to improve shipment notice handling and processing. The Shipment Notices (whinh3600m000) session is subdivided into a header section and a lines section and includes the following information:

  • Header section
    Shipment notice details
  • Lines section
    Lines
  • Routings
  • Packaging

The lines section provides access to the following sessions:

  • Shipment Notice - Lines (whinh3101m000)
  • Inbound ASN Routings (whinh3115m000)
  • Shipment Notice - Header Packaging (whinh3103m000)

In the lines section, if you double-click a line in any of the tabs, detailed information is displayed. For example, in the Lines section, if you double-click a line in the Lines tab, the Shipment Notice - Lines (whinh3101m000) session starts showing detailed information on the shipment notice line.
