	Split-off production orders Split-off production order You can split in-process production orders into two production orders. The split-off quantity is defined by the user who determines the order quantity that remains with the parent order and the order quantity that goes to the new child production order. At order split, the new child production order obtains all the operations and material requirements as listed on the parent production order and is updated and replanned based on the order split quantity. Production order cost estimates are updated on both the parent and the child production orders. Actual production hours and costs for completed operations are distributed between parent and child production orders based on prorated quantities.
