Subcontracted service itemsInfor LN 10.2.1 You can generate purchase orders for subcontracted services, but you cannot generate purchase requisitions for these items. Infor LN 10.3 In case of operation subcontracting, you can now generate requisitions for subcontracted services from a routing operation or a production order in Manufacturing. When an operation must be subcontracted for a production order, the Requisition Mandatory check box in the Items - Purchase (tdipu0101m000) session determines whether it is mandatory to generate a purchase requisition before a purchase order can be generated. If the requisition has a linked production order, but no suitable buy-from business partner or price can be retrieved, or the price must be negotiated, the requisition can be converted to a request for quotation (RFQ). If the requisition has a linked routing and no linked production order, it must always be converted to an RFQ and cannot be converted to a purchase order. For more information, refer to Subcontracted service items in Procurement.
