Master data management

This topic describes the differences between the Master Data Management in Infor LN 10.2.0 and in Infor LN 10.2.1 that are not already discussed in other Differences topics.

VAT Based On

The VAT Based On field is added to the Service Types (tsmdm0130m000) session. The VAT is charged based on goods or services. This value is filled for the service orders.

Return unconsumed Items to Warehouse

The Return Unconsumed Items to Warehouse checkbox is added to Items - Service (tsmdm2100m000) and Items - Service Defaults (tsmdm2105m000) session. You can use this value to returned unconsumed material to the warehouse.

Order Types

The Order Type Normal Delivery and Order Type Direct Delivery fields are added to the Service Types (tsmdm0130m000) session. The order type determines which sessions are part of the order procedure and the sequence in which to run the sessions.

Internal Price Search Method

The Internal Price Search Method field is added in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) session to calculate the material cost.

Internal Sales Labor Rate

The Internal Sales Labor Rate field is added to the Service Departments (tsmdm1100m000) session. You use this field to specify the code to use when one service department performs work for another service department.
