Service order control

This topic describes the differences between the Service Order Control in Infor LN 10 and in Infor LN 10.2.1 that are not already discussed in other Differences topics.

Default Engineer Assignment in Service Orders

The Default Preferred Engineer during Global SRP and Default Preferred Engineer during Order Creation check boxes are added in Service Order Parameters (tssoc0100m000) session.

Return unconsumed Items to Warehouse

The Return unconsumed Items to Warehouse checkbox is added to the Service Order Actual Material Costs (tssoc2121m000) session, that allows you to create a material line for material that must be returned to the warehouse.

Labor Line Mandatory and Travel Line Mandatory

The Labor Line Mandatory and Travel Line Mandatory check boxes are added to the Service Order Parameters (tssoc0100m000) session. If you select this check box, a reference to a Service Order Labor Cost line and Service Order other Cost line must be specified when a line is created in the Service Order Hours (bptmm1130m000) session.

Use Fixed Repair Prices in Service Orders

A new check box Use Fixed Repair Prices in Service Orders is added to the Service Order Parameters (tssoc0100m000) session.
