Inspections and maintenance notifications

This topic describes the differences in Infor LN 10.2.1.

In Infor LN 10, only numeric inspection values are supported.

In Infor LN 10.2.1, alpha numeric inspections are supported. Inspections can trigger a trigger set which leads to the generation of maintenance notifications. A Maintenance Trigger Set is a set of maintenance triggers that is used for triggering maintenance notifications when performing measurements. A maintenance triggers set can be linked to a counter reading that is linked to a serialized item. A maintenance trigger set is linked to a measurement type.
