Search logic for service contract

This topic describes the differences in Infor LN 10.2.1.

In Infor LN 10, when you generate a call, service order, or a maintenance sales order for an item A with serial 123, LN searches for a service contract defined for the same item-serial combination.

In Infor LN 10.2.1, the search logic for the service contract is modified. LN does not require an exact match of the item-serial combination when searching for a contract. For more information, refer to Search path for service contracts.
