Contract Management

	Contract Management This topic describes the differences between Contract Management in Infor LN 10 and in Infor LN 10.2.1 that are not already discussed in other Differences topics. New in Infor LN 10.2.1 In Infor LN 10.2.1, a new module Contract Management is introduced that allows you to define a contract, contract line, deliverables, contract types and invoicing and so on. For more information, refer to Creating a contract. Note The Contract Management module replaces the Business Partner by Project and Contract Sub-amount functionality. Several fields such as Contract type, Invoice type, Holdback Percentage, Cost Plus Markup and so on, that were earlier defined on the project are now part of the Contracts (tpctm1100m000) session in the Contract Management module. These new sessions are added: Contract Parameters (tpctm0100m000) Programs (tpctm0110m000) Bank Guarantees (tpctm0120m000) Billing Cycles (tpctm0130m000) Contract Price Sundry Costs (tpctm0140m000) Print Bank Guarantees (tpctm0420m000) Contracts (tpctm1100m000) Contract History (tpctm1102m000) Contract Lines (tpctm1110m000) Contract Line History (tpctm1112m000) Copy Contract (tpctm1200m000) Release Deliverables to Warehousing (tpctm1210m000) Contract 360 (tpctm1300m000) Print Contract Acknowledgments (tpctm1400m000) Contract (tpctm1600m000) The following sessions are modified: In the Contract Parameters (tpctm0100m000) session, the Activate Backorders automatically check box and the Release Backorders automatically to Warehousing check box are added. When you copy a contract using the Copy Contract (tpctm1200m000) session, Infor LN 10.2.1 clears the value in the Project field in the Advance Payment Requests (tppin4110m000) and Installments (tppin4551m000) session for the advances and/or installments created for the new contract line.
