Backorders for contract deliverable

New in Infor LN 10.2.1

In Infor LN 10.2.1, you can create and maintain backorders for contract deliverables. A backorder is an order for a good or service that cannot be filled at the current time due to a lack of available supply. You can also create multiple backorders for a single contract deliverable.

The backorders created for the contract deliverables can be automatically confirmed and released to the warehouse based on the Activate Backorders automatically and Release Backorders automatically to Warehousing settings in the Contract Parameters (tpctm0100m000) session.

Backorders can be created both for hardware and non-hardware deliverables. When a backorder is created for a contract deliverable, the backorder data can be viewed in the Backorders (tppdm7100m300), Contract Deliverables Monitor (tppdm7100m400), Contract Deliverables (tppdm7100m100) and the Contract Deliverables Schedule (tppdm7100m200) sessions.
