Calculation of additional costs is based on an entire sales order or shipment. The applicable additional cost set is retrieved based on an accumulation of the order line or shipment line data.

Additional costs can also be calculated for and linked to a single sales order line or shipment line. For each sales order line or shipment line, the applicable additional cost set is retrieved.
