Landed costs

In Infor LN 10, the landed costs functionality was introduced.

Several features were added to the landed costs functionality.

Purchase transactions

In addition to using landed costs with purchase orders and warehouse transfers, you can use landed costs with the following:

Purchase schedules and schedule receipts. For more information, refer to Landed costs – purchase schedules and Landed costs – purchase schedule receipts.
Advance shipment notices. For more information, refer to Landed costs – advance shipment notices.
Freight orders. For more information, refer to Landed costs – freight orders.

Cost price calculation

You can include landed costs in an item's cost price calculation.

Landed costs by business partner

Landed Cost Lines by Business Partner (tclct2600m000) is a new composite session in which you can view all expected and actual landed costs for a particular business partner.

Miscellaneous enhancements

The following additional enhancements were made:

You can duplicate landed costs master data in the Copy Landed Costs Set (tclct1200m100) session.
If the Calculation Method is Percentage Value, for subcontracted order lines, the landed cost amount is based on the Customs Value and not on the Price.
If the Expiry Date field is empty in the Landed Costs Revisions (tclct1120m000) session and a new landed cost line is specified, the Expiry Date is filled with the effective date of the new line if this date is after the effective date of the current line.
Landed Cost Lines by Purchase Order (tclct2100m300) and Landed Cost Lines by Warehouse Order (tclct2100m500) are new sessions. You can use these sessions to view, enter, and maintain the landed costs that are linked to a selected purchase order and warehouse transfer order.
Landed Cost Lines by Schedule (tclct2100m400) session was introduced to have an overview of all landed costs for a selected purchase schedule.
Purchase orders and order lines with the For Commingling check box selected cannot include linked landed cost lines. Landed cost lines can be linked to purchase orders or order lines only during the commingling process.
The Include Inactive Landed Costs Sets check box was added to the Simulate Search Landed Costs Set (tclct1200m000) session.
