Purchase budget control

Budget Control is an integrated information system that tracks and controls budget-related business transactions. The module enables financial managers to define precisely how and when budgets are controlled, facilitates real-time budget checking and prevents unauthorized deficits.

If Budget Control is implemented in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session, purchase transactions can be checked against available budgets.

For the following document types, you can specify if, how, and when budget checks must be executed:

  • Purchase requisitions
  • Purchase orders
  • Purchase receipts
