Shipping Material AccountsIn Infor LN FP6 the Packaging Items (whwmd4505m000) functionality to record the received and issued quantities of packaging items is enhanced. A new functional concept Shipping Material Account is added and transactions for packaging items are logged at a detailed level. The shipping material account is used to group packaging items for the purpose of reporting to business partners. Packaging Items functionality in FP5 Infor LN FP5 offers some basic functionality which allows the end user to manually enter inventory balances (in/out) of packaging materials in the Packaging Items by Business Partner (whwmd4107m000) session. Packaging Items functionality in FP6 In Infor LN FP6 a new functional concept Shipping Material Account is intoduced. You can use the Shipping Material Account functionality to record all transactions of packaging items for which the Accountable check box is selected in the Packaging Items (whwmd4505m000) session. To enable LN to record the received and issued quantities of packaging items you must select the Extended Packaging Item Registration check box in the Master Data Parameters (whwmd0100s000) session.
