Lot and Serial Tracking for Direct Delivery Orders

For direct delivery orders, the buy-from business partner delivers the goods directly to the sold-to business partner. The goods are not delivered from warehouse, so Warehousing is not involved in the receipt and issue of goods. As a result, no lot and serial tracking is created for direct delivery orders.

In Infor LN FP6 the Direct Delivery check box is introduced. LN selects the check box to indicate that the buy-from business partner delivers the goods directly to the sold-to business partner. The goods are are not received / issued from a warehouse.
