Reference order and position available during product configuration

If a generic item is entered on a sales order line, you must configure the generic item to create a product variant. The configuration process uses a product model defined in the Product Configuration module.

In Infor LN FP5, the information on the sales order line was not available to the constraint defined in the product model.

In Infor LN FP6, the information on the sales order line is available in the product model. The reference order number (sales order number) and position are known to the system when the product variant is created.
