Improved Import/Export PCS Activities from/to MS Project via XML

In order to view and modify PCS activities in an external application such as Microsoft Project, you can export and import the network planning to and from an XML file. You can export or import this data by using the Export / Import PCS Activities via XML (tipcs4172m000) session, which is started from the Activities (tipcs4101m000) and Activity Relationships (tipcs4110m000) session.

In Infor LN FP5, you could select a range of projects and make a selection of activities to export.

In Infor LN FP6, you must select one project to export and LN process all the activities of this project. However, you can include the subprojects of a project. This functionality was changed to prevent an incomplete export, which leads to incorrect results in Microsoft Project.
