Order sequencing based on setup classes and states

In Infor LN FP3, you can generate order blocks to create an optimum sequence of production orders and to minimize the loss of production time for changeovers from one product to another. An order block is a collection of production orders with similar setup states. If you generate order blocks, LN sorts the order blocks to reduce the time required to set up machines.

You can modify the order blocks to fine-tune the result by using a graphical plan board. If you are satisfied with the plan, you can use the order blocks to update the start times and end times of production order operations. You can see the result in the Production Planning (tisfc0110m000) session.
