Creating an Order Group for Planned Orders

To start this session, use one of these methods:

  • Start this session directly from the menu.
  • In the Planned Order Groups (cppat3150m000) session, click New

You can group orders in several ways:

  • Specifying ranges of criteria for the planned orders.
  • Selecting individual orders: Click the Spec. Order(s) button to zoom to the Enter Specific Planned Production Orders (cppat4820s000) session to select specific planned production orders.

To restrict the size of the planned order you create, enter a value in the Maximum Group Size field.

After you defin the initial selection and click the Create Group button, you can accept or reject individual planned production orders as part of the order group in the Assign Production Orders to EP Order Group (cppat3151s000) session.

If orders within your selection range are already in order groups, you can display the orders in the Assign Production Orders to EP Order Group (cppat3151s000) session by selecting the Include Grouped Orders check box. You cannot include these orders in the current group, because an order can only be in one order group, unless you first remove the order from its existing group in the Planned Order Group - Planned Orders (cppat1500m100) session.
