| | Computing Performance Indicators- Select the Find Record
icon on the tool bar to start the Find Performance Indicators (cprao2202s000) session. Enter a scenario and a plan
level.
- Select the range of resources and plan items for which you want to compute the performance indicators. If
you only want to view the performance indicators for a specific resource or for
a specific plan item, enter the same resource or plan item in both the From and
To fields.
- Click OK to go back to
the Performance Indicators (cprao2201s000) session.
- Click Compute Indicators to compute the performance indicators. LN computes the values of
all performance indicators and stores them separately for each selected plan
item and resource. In the next step, these values can be aggregated for ranges of resources and plan
items.
- Click Retrieve Indicators to retrieve the performance indicators that were computed
in the previous step. Each indicator is displayed as a total or average value
for the selected resources and plan items.
Note - When the data on which
the computation is based changes (for example, the demand forecast changes),
the performance indicators are not automatically updated. If you want to make
sure that the indicators reflect the current planning situation, recompute, and
update them by repeating Steps 4 and 5.
- For an explanation of
each performance indicator, see the help information of the performance
indicator fields.
- All indicator
computations that are carried out for a range of plan periods, start with the
plan period in which the current date falls. For instance, when the field help
information states that an indicator is computed for all plan periods, you must
keep in mind that plan periods that lie completely in the past, are
ignored.
On the appropriate menu you can select the following
options to view performance indicators: - Select Scenario Performance button to go to the Scenario Performance (cprao2203s000) session. In this session you can compare
the performance of two scenarios.
- Select View Performance
Indicators by Plan Item to go to the Plan Items - Performance Indicators (cprao2550m000) session. In this session you
can view the performance indicators of several plan items simultaneously, which
helps you to identify plan items that need special attention from a planning
point of view.
- Select View Performance
Indicators by Resource to go to the Resources - Performance Indicators (cprao2560m000) session. In this session you
can view the performance indicators of several resources
simultaneously.
- Select View Work Load
Control Performance Indicators to go to the Work Load Control Performance Indicators (cpwlc2520m000) session. In this session you
can analyze the performance of a combination of scenario and plan
level.
