Copying Master Plan to Items

In addition to copying the various plan values, you can also modify these values by a certain percentage. For example, you can raise the demand plan by 10% and lower the inventory plan by 20%.

Note

LN only takes items into account for which the Maintain Master Plans check box in the Items - Planning (cprpd1100m000) session is selected.

To copy plan data between items:

  1. A master plan must already exist for each target plan item and plan period involved. You can check this in the Item Master Plan (cprmp2101m000) session. If such master plans do not exist yet, you must first create them in the Initialize, Roll, and Update Scenario (cprpd4200m000) session.
  2. Specify the scenario.
  3. Specify the source item's plan level.
  4. Select the source item.
  5. Select a range of plan periods for which you want to copy the specified master plan data.
  6. Enter a percentage for each plan type that you want to copy.
  7. Specify the target item(s).
  8. Select the update mode ( Overwrite or Add To.
  9. Click Copy.
Note

If the source and the target plan items have different plan units, LN converts the planned quantities to the plan unit of the target plan item.
