Master DataYou use Master Data to register employee information and codes that are used for general hours and expenses. You can also register information about roles, skills, rates, and surcharges. The information on the employee helps to establish whether or not an employee is still being employed (first and last date of employment), is internal or external, the number of employment hours, and so on. General task and expense codes are used as part of hours and expense accounting. The standard codes for tasks and expenses can be related to departments. If so, this department will be defaulted while recording tasks and expenses. If no default department is indicated, the employee's department will be defaulted while recording tasks and expenses. Master Data also lets you capture assignments, which you can use to speed up the hours registration process by loading the assignments on your time sheet.
