Mapping Table for Addresses (bcmtc1102m000)Use this session to validate and correct addresses that are created during the pre-conversion run. The results of this pre-conversion run are shown in this session. Prior to the actual conversion the address can be maintained to correct for instance fields that are filled wrongly during the pre-conversion. Preparation Before you can use this session you have to fill in the conversion parameters in session Pre Conversion Parameters for Common (bcmtc0100s000). You have to define the mapping between the free format address fields in MANMAN/HP and the fixed address fields in ERP LN 6.1 and execute a pre-conversion run before you can validate and correct the addresses in this session. Execution Although the migration of the addresses will work correctly without using this session, it is strongly advisable to first validate the results of the pre-conversion run for each address that has been created.
Address Code The code for the address. This code has been generated during
the pre-conversion run and consists of one of the prefixed defined in session Pre Conversion Parameters for Common (bcmtc0100s000) and a sequential
number. Name The name of the person or organization on this address. If the
name consists of more than one part, or it does not fit in this field, you can
enter the second part in the Name 2 field. You can then print the parts of the
name on separate lines on orders and other documents. Search Key The search key to find the address. Default value The first 16 characters of the Name field. Address The physical address. For example, the street name. If the name
consists of more than one part, or does not fit in this field, you can enter
the second part in the Address 2 field. You can then print the parts of the
address on separate lines on orders and other documents. House Number The house number. If you specify the house number, you cannot
enter a value in the P.O. Box Number field. P.O. Box Number The person's or organization's post-office box number. If you
specify the post-office box number, You cannot enter a value in the House
Number field. City The code of the city. ZIP Code/Postal Code The address’s ZIP /postal Code. Country The country of the address. Allowed values The country code must be defined in session Mapping Table for Countries (bcmtc1105m000). State/Province The code of the state or the (Canadian) province. GEO Code The code used together with or instead of address information
such as the city, state/province, and postal code to identify a taxing
jurisdiction in North America and Canada. Time Zone The address's time zone. ERP LN 6.1 uses the time zone for resources that have this
address. Default value The default time zone as defined in session Conversion Parameters for Common (bcmtc1100s000). Name 2 Part two or any other additional text of the Name
field. Address 2 Part two or any other additional text of the Address
field. City 2 Part two or any other additional text of the City
field. Telephone The address's main telephone number. This field is used for
information only . Fax The address's fax number. This field is used for information
only. Telex The address's telex number. This field is used for information
only Internet The address's internet address. This field is used for
information only. E-mail The address's main e-mail address. This field is used for
information only. Tax Number If this field has a value, ERP LN 6.1 applies the EU VAT rules to transactions for which this
address is used. If your business is established in a European Union (EU)
member country, you must enter the following values: Allowed values
Optionally, you can enter a dummy tax number for business partners outside the EU. For example, enter 'NOVAT'. This starts the EU VAT calculation process for transactions with business partners that have this address. If the address's country is outside the EU, ERP LN 6.1 correctly applies import VAT or export VAT to such transactions.
