E4X

For XML support Infor Process Automation uses E4X, an industry-standard extension to JavaScript that adds native XML support to the language. E4X is short for ECMAScript for XML. ECMAScript is the formal name for JavaScript.

E4X enables XML objects to be accessed in a way that is more straightforward than using DOM or other technologies.
