Disabling email notifications for a user (optional end-user task)

You can disable email notifications for a single user. For example, if you receive too many notifications about pending work items, you can disable notifications and reinstate them if required. Depending on this setting, notifications are either disabled or use the default behavior defined by the process.

From the Inbasket > User Options, disable the notifications or leave the as default setting.

You can also disable email notifications for all users.

Note: When you use an email node to send emails to all users associated with a task, this Notify Option setting from user profiles is ignored. Emails are always sent, regardless of whether notifications are disabled. To prevent these emails from being delivered, configure your task to exclude those users or set rules on your email server.
