ISO locale

For translations in IPA, the available languages are presented in the standard ISO format. Two lowercase letters represent a language and two uppercase letters represent a country. The signifier for the language and signifier for the country are separated by an underscore (_). For example:

hi_IN

where hi represents Hindi, the language, and IN represents India, the country.
