Calling lookup data in processes using the Infor Process Automation xref feature
Using JavaScript, you can configure a process to read cross-references (xrefs) from a table that is stored on the Infor Process Automation server.
These are examples of how the feature is used:
- Locate various pieces of data, concatenate the strings and then present them as a message to a user.
- Create a process that makes use of user data stored in two separate systems. User data from each system could be concatenated to create a single entry in the Infor Process Automation xref lookup table.
You can implement this feature with these steps:
- Using Infor Process Automation, create an xref table that defines the source data.
- Using Infor Process Designer, create a process that includes a Javascript call to the xref.
