Enabling the restrict open action in a list

To prevent records from being opened in a configured list, you can enable the restrict open action. This action is disabled by default, and you must enable the action to apply the restriction.

Note: The Restricted Actions tab is available only if your role has configuration enabled in the configurable features.
  1. From the list to personalize, select More Actions > Options > Personalize.
  2. Select Create or Update.
  3. On the Restricted Actions tab, select the Restrict open action check box.
  4. Click Ok.
