Personalizations overview
Personalizations are changes that you make to a delivered object, such as a list, that makes it easier for you to work with.
Not all personalizations are available to all users, and screens may not show the same for everyone. Access to personalizations, including menu items, is determined by your system administrator.
The personalizations described here are viewed and used only by the person who made them. Infor Landmark Technology administrators can make changes to delivered objects that other users can access.
Note: In some cases, personalization involves working with live data, enabling you to add or delete items from lists. When making personalizations, modify system data only when such changes are intentional.
This table shows examples of changes you can make, with personalization options varying depending on the object you are attempting to personalize:
| Personalization example | How to |
|---|---|
| Add, remove, or reorganize the columns in a list or report. | Select and use the List Editor. |
| Modify a list to automatically filter and show only records that meet certain criteria. | Select and use the List Editor. |
| Use available widgets to create your own custom web pages that are not specific to a particular application. | See the Infor OS Portal User Guide. |
