Using Rich Text Assisted Authorship on text editing forms

You can use the Infor Rich Text Assisted Authorship feature, which is based on Generative Artificial Intelligence (GEN AI), to generate content in rich text editing fields.
Note: Administrators must enable this feature to users.

See Enabling the Rich Text Assisted Authorship feature in the Infor Landmark Technology User Setup and Security for CloudSuite guide.

For example, you are using the Jobs application and tasked with updating an existing job description to add new responsibilities. The Rich Text Assisted Authorship feature can provide a draft of a new description, based on Key Points that you specify. Key Points are text phrases that must be included in the generated text.

  1. Locate and select the form that contains a rich text form requiring update.
  2. Click the Generate with AI button on the Rich Text Editor toolbar.
  3. On the Generate Text form, provide the Key Points for the updated description.
  4. Click Generate. The new description is displayed in the Generated Text field.
  5. To modify the generated text, use the text editing toolbar to make changes.
  6. To use the updated description, click Append to add the generated text to the end of the original text.
  7. Optionally, you can rephrase any text in the Rich Text Editor:
    1. Select the text to rephrase and click the Generate with AI button. The Rephrase text window is displayed.
    2. To change the length of the generated text, select Lengthen or Shorten in the Change Length field. The default value is blank.
    3. To change the tone of the generated text, select Casual, Professional, or Formal in the Change Tone field. The default value is blank.
    4. Click Rephrase.
    5. To replace the original text with the generated text, click Use Rephrased Text.
