Creating an Actor Context template

Use this procedure to create an Actor Context template.

You can create multiple templates. For example, you might create a template called AllActors that you would assign to any Actor you add to your system. AllActors would be linked to Actor Context values that all Actors on your system need.

Additionally, you might create another template, ContractAdministrators, that would include Actor Context values needed by those who use the Contracts application.

  1. In the Security Administration, select Administration > Actor Context Template.
  2. Click Create and specify this information:
    Actor Context Template
    Specify the template name.
    Description
    Optionally, provide a template description.
  3. Click Save.
  4. On the Actor Context Template Detail List, click Add and select the Actor Context Values that must be linked to this template.
  5. Click Save when you are finished creating the template. Continue creating other templates as needed.
