Linking an Actor Group to an Actor Context Record

This procedure provides the steps for assigning a template to an Actor Group. A template must already exist before you perform this procedure.

  1. In the Security Administration, select Administration > Actor Context Template.
  2. On the Actor Context Template List, select More Actions > Create Actor Context From Template. The Actor Context Template dialog box opens.
  3. Select Actor Group.
  4. Populate the appropriate fields on the Actor Context Template dialog box.
    1. For Actor Context Template: Select a template from the list.
    2. For Actor Group: Locate and select the Actor Group that should be linked to the template.
    3. For How to Process If Actor Context Already Exists: If you are updating an existing Actor Group that might already have a value for at least one of the Actor Contexts, select Replace to replace the existing value or Skip to retain the existing value.
  5. Click Submit.
