Overriding auto restart settings

Administrators can override the set auto restart settings on a process.

  1. Select Process Server Administrator > Configuration > Process Definitions > User Defined Processes then open a process.
If auto restart is enabled for the current process, the value in the Current Process Auto Restart is Enabled and the Auto Restart tab is available.
  2. In the Auto Restart tab, under the Admin Override section, you can enable or disable the auto restart of a process. By default, this option is enabled. Even if Auto Restart is enabled for a flow, the administrator can disable it.
  3. Select Keep Work Unit Active to keep the work unit in processing status even after failure.
The Keep Work Unit Active setting is cleared or disabled by default.
  4. In the Restart Settings section, specify the restart count and pause time in seconds.
The maximum restart count is 9, and the maximum pause time is 999 seconds. However, if Keep Work Unit Active is selected, the maximum pause time is limited to 300 seconds.
  5. Click Save.
You can view the work unit auto-restart status logs through Process Server Administrator > Work Units > Work Units > Information tab. You can also view the auto-restart count and pause time details in the log files.
