Configuring a connection to Infor OS Portal

Before you configure a connection between the Social node and Infor OS Portal, you must request Infor OS Portal connection information from Infor OS Portal administrators.

Note: Starting with the 2024.10 release, the Social activity node will be deprecated and removed from the Infor Process Designer (IPD) tool, Infor Process Designer for the Web (IPD Web), and runtime server. Additionally, this node is no longer supported in multi-tenant environments and will be removed on a later date. See KB3522595.
  1. Create a configuration variable called socialActor under Properties in the "system" configuration set.

The role of the OS Portal user should be OS Portal Enterprise.

  2. Configure a OS Portal service URL, consumer key, and secret key.
    1. Access Process Server Administrator and select Configuration > OS > Service.
    2. Click Create.
    3. Specify this information:

Specify the OS Portal service URL.
      Consumer Key
